Day 8 and 9, this was a fun knit I think. I have actually made a scarf in the pattern from day 9 long time ago. Never use it because it is curling to much...
One third finished and I am starting to worry about how to be able to block this thing in to the pretty scarf I have imagined that I will wear in February... Fingers crossed that it will turn out nicely, I have never blocked something like this successfully.

I still need to get my report notes together on blocking from my Level 1. (the box and folder are out for review yet)

I have them...just need to find them--organize them.

Blocking is really not hard...Tone you will be amazed how the pattern will open up and look very "straight"...Curves where curves should be...edges uncurl...etc.

I love that top portion...it looks like fun to knit up!!!

Your 'fans' on day 9 are great! I'm nervous also about blocking ~ I'll have to do a few sections at a time ~ not enough room to do the whole thing at once ... anyway, any helpful hints on blocking will be much appreciated by me also ;)

I have a madrass that is 1x2 m that I used for blocking shawls. Then I could pin the shawl to it and leave it to dry.
If the scarf not is longer than 2m this will work out, but if it turns out longer I don't know... Maybe I can pull our madrasses out of the bed, then I will get 4m to pin on. Yeah a good idea - we can sleep on the floor in the meantime - im sure my hubby dosen't mind (NOT!)

oooh...hadn't thought of using my mattress! I can take my mattress and put my boxspring that's under it beside it and that would be long enough for sure! I think my husband would agree with yours that that is NOT a great idea!
