Reading ahead again and I see 'k2tog twisted' ~ that's a new one for me! Anybody have any idea?
Annette, you surprised me! You've got this blog thing figured out already ~ I like your yarn choice even more now that it is wound...it reminds me of the colors I chose for my shell vest!

I have had a look at the Swedish verson and I think I know what it means. Sweedish language is very close to Norwegian so I have the advantage of two patterns here. If one not makes sence, I can go to the other one and have a look lol:.
When Norwegians (and Sweeds) knit a stitch through the back loop, we call it "vridd" = "twisted". You turn the stitch the other way, if this makes sence - and this is what you call to knit through the back loop. I am pretty sure this is right, 99% sure in fact...lol:. This is due to a little lack of experience from the designer to write patterns in English/American terms, she has only translated the word...
Hobbygasa is correct. (I checked into this as well)
Twisted in European terms is simply knit through the back--to cause the stitch to "lie the wrong way"...which is what I did when I first learned to knit...hence my name, AHEM, and this seems to come very easy for me...
I guessed that you both would know the answer ... and I had a sneaking suspicion that 'twisted' might have a story to tell about how she got her name... ;) ~ thanks guys!
